Safe and Private Dog Freedom!

This fully fenced, grassy dog park near Priddis is part of a 20 acre homestead. The field was originally fenced for sheep with page wire. A fire pit area looks out over the field with a collection of chairs if your dog(s) tire you out.

Details: There is a mix of fencing styles around the entire Sniffspot including plank, rail and barbed wire. We have reinforced almost all of it with page wire so the area is quite secure.

Only you and your dogs will be present in the dog park during your booked time. You can invite others to share it with you but that’s totally up to you.

Buffer: On either side of your booking time we have a 15 minute buffer to ensure the previous guest and the guest after you don’t interfere with your time.

Host Rules:

  • Minimum Visit Length: 30 minutes

  • Maximum Dogs: 12

  • Required Advanced Notice: 2 hours

  • First Time Visit: We prefer to meet our guests on their first visit.

Safety Rules:

  • Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the spot.

  • Make sure the area is safe and secure before bringing your dog in.

  • Never enter a spot before your booking start time and never leave late.

  • Pick up after your dogs. Leave the spot as it was when you arrived.

  • Always review and abide by spot specific rules.

  • Unless otherwise stated, restrooms are not available on site

Winter Notes: ( November through April ):

  • When snow is present feel free to bring snowshoes or cross country skis to use at your own risk. Snow will also be cleared in parts and snow piles are available for puppies to enjoy.

  • On some days we will have a fire in the firepit so you can warm up.

  • During winter you may need your own water supply. We try to make water available but the outdoor water tap is turned off.

  • During winter our outhouse is not available.
